The project started in May 2025 and finished at the end of September 2025.
This is a design that won (out of Hailey’s 3 designs) by voting of more than 300 people in community of Vaals.
Painting includes textiles history of Vaals, children/adult games and surrounding with culture route with typical Limburg landscapes and buildings of 4 villages: Vaals, Holset, Vijlen,
Lemier, in order to decorate the empty square with green and activity, to bring community together as meeting ground.

De grootste straattekening van Nederland gemaakt door kinderen in Lemiers
Juni 2013. Vrijdagmiddag hebben schoolkinderen een straattekening gemaakt, ontwerp en begeleid door Hailey Huynh . Ruim 100 m2 oppervlakte, de grootste straattekening van Nederland, uitgevoerd door zo'n 150 kids. Een oude brandweerauto van tuincentrum... In de Inde maakte het mogelijk een mooi overzicht te maken.
