The project started in May 2025 and finished at the end of September 2025.

This is a design that won (out of Hailey’s 3 designs) by voting of more than 300 people in community of Vaals.

Painting includes textiles history of Vaals, children/adult games and surrounding with culture route with typical Limburg landscapes and buildings of 4 villages: Vaals, Holset, Vijlen, Lemier, in order to decorate the empty square with green and activity, to bring community together as meeting ground.
